Further proof that Dave is a nerd:
Here is a cross-section drawing of Alpha Flight attacking The Master's subterranean lair that I did during a gruelling all-day career seminar. I was paying attention the whole time, I swear. Look at the tiny little Alpha Flight guys, aren't they cute?

Ho ho--awesome. Nerd you may be, but well done. Jeez, do they bolt you to the chairs during these seminars?
PS the signature in the corner is a nice touch.
Where is Aurora? I coudln't find her.
She's right under the "H" in "Alpha Flight" blasting a plodex wolf or penis with legs - whatever those things are.
BTW, that is brilliant.
'A Cross-Section Adventure"???
WOW!
Greatest comic concept. EVER.
The mindscape of Dave Campbell is a fertile terrain!
(or just jam-packed with fertilizer)
Excellent!

Holy cow! I am impressed.
And hey! I found Waldo.
Puck! Yes!
Bah, My mind automatically recognized that as Heather (Vindicator/Guardian) instead of Aurora.
So the polar bears from Bears on a Sub were actually Plodex bears?
I just had a thought...
IF (and only IF) Dave plans on doing MORE of these Cross-Section adventures...
I have a GREAT one:
The Whole RAMA-TUT adventure that dealt with the F.F. (issue # 19), Doctor Strange (issue # 53) and was encapsulated in West Coast Avengers # 22 (which is pretty much all you need to do the Cross-Section).
*I think there might have been ONE extra addition to that retcon wonder, but it escapes me.
Needless to say, should Dave attempt this, his, your, and my mind will 'splode!

Looks better than 98% of the stuff DC came out with in the 90s. Good stuff!
"Further proof that Dave is a nerd:"
Dave, we needed no such proof. Nerd away!
"Creepy White Girl"?
BWAH-HAH-HAH-HAH-HAH!!!!
I also love the ROLL CALL, featuring the most adorable renditions of the team, especially Puck--who looks like he's saying "Hiya! I'm Puck! What's your name?"
And apologies, but my word verification is MPKMNUKI, who's clearly the Great Beast who never showed up at any of the meetings.
Fool it now!
KRUNK!
Daaaamn. Spectacular. You captured that oh-so-brief moment before Byrne totally screwed up his creation.

The one additional retcon wonder you're thinking of came from the Rise of Apocalypse mini-series from about ten years ago.
Great. Here I was about to respond with something along the lines of "Great work, Dave. Alpha Flight has never been this good." And then I have to open my mouth and let you all know that my taste in comics is at least as bad as Campbell's.
Fuck me
I'm Chalk!
Dude, I am Chalk.
I especially like Sasquatch down in the corner. Awesomeness concentrated.
Yeah, that Sasquatch - Airwolf!
And hey! There's Puck doing his signature cartwheel spin move thing. He's taking on the Master himself without any help! Wow, that Puck is double Airwolf. You see, you love him really.
But tell me - how the hell do you get away with this during meetings? It's one thing doing a few crappy doodles but this...?!? Doesn't someone notice?
I'm sure you don't need me to tell you that was probably more coherent and entertaining than the last hundred and some actual issues of Alpha Flight. (Spread over what, three cancelled series?) Maybe next you could put their death on-panel! (As long as Puck and Sasquatch make it, I'm cool.)
Is Marrina naked in that picture?
Dave - this fills me with joy.
This won't really have success, I feel like this.

This can't truly have success, I feel this way.
