Batman on acid!

Increase the tempo! Ignore the target! Attack the other someplaces!
Batman is freaking out.
This is a Joker-induced hallucination from Batman #294 (1977), so don't worry. Batman doesn't really do drugs, kids. I just want to be the #1 search result for "Batman on acid." Goals are important, kids.

Attack the other someplaces?!? Sweet Jesus that's awesome.

  2. Batman's using the process of elimination. That's just common sense.

For further amusement, I suggest [warning: shameless self-link] another set of fictional icons on drugs.

if the Joker had really brought his A game, he'd have had the "other someplaces" populated with orphans or puppies.

And then, you know, laughed and laughed.

  4. well ya know...if you just flail about wildly, odds are that you are going to hit SOMEthing! I'm not sure that this is up to Batmans' usual meticulous planning but sometimes you just have to wing it.

Ok, I can't stand it. Even though Chris Arndt is going to paint me as a commie pinko gut-puke liberal:

Batman's playing Taboo, and his phrase is "recent US foreign policy."

    Hopefully Jason Todd! Whee!

"Sorry, Robin, I accidentally hit you while under the Joker's thrall."
    "(sniff) I'm tellin' Leslie."

That first panel would make a great T-shirt. Or album cover. Or 3rd-gen photocopy poster for a local band.

Now this is why I read this blog.

And kids, remember - acid is bad, black coffee is good. Have your parents brew you a pot of black coffee now!

Word verification: batme. Or "please bat me some coffee, man"

Yeah, there were a lot of people experiencing "Joker-induced hallucinations" in 1977.

    Sterg,

Chris can label you all he wants, but I thought that was pretty freaking funny.

I like how he says "if he's not where he should be, he must be someplace else!" like he just discovered a new law of physics or something.

Remember, you're not evaluating Batman's logic skills here, you're evaluating the logic skills of Batman on acid.

I'm sure he could still take out the entire Justice League as long as each member was also on acid. (Now that I've written that, why do I feel like DC will write that story in the next 5 years?)

What? Is being the number one search result for Powergirl Boobs not doing it for you anymore?

There actually was a comic where Batman got dosed with acid.

  18. systematically attack the other someplaces

Well, somebody killed something...that much is clear, at any rate.

In all seriousness, this reads like the anthologized lyrics of Led Zeppelin.

wtf?! The G0DD@#n3d Batman using chairs and lamps as weapons? This must be Bizarro-Bats!

And 'increase the tempo'? what did he forget to do the Bat-roebics?

  20. Am I just freaking out, hopped up on goofballs, or does this post have a different font than the others?

  21. Anonymous5:59 PM

Yeah, the goofballs thing. Don't sweat it - happens to the best of us.

  22. Anonymous7:39 PM

Maybe goofballs, or maybe the Bat-Acid effect is spreading

"TRIPPING BALLS BATMAN" should be the next DC Direct figure-variant.

    I'd buy this many!
